Photographs by Senator Barry Goldwater, including posed portraits of Native Americans of the Apache, Chemeheuvi, Havasupai, Hopi, Maricopa, Mohave and Navajo nations. Many are head and shoulder portraits. Some include natural or domestic surroundings, or the sitter engaged in traditional handicrafts such as basketry, pottery or weaving. Some are black and white variants of color images.
